Founded in 1960, Domino's Pizza is the world recognized leader in pizza delivery. The Isla Vista store has been locally owned and operated by Mark Talarico and Joe Hayes since March of 1994. Both are Goleta natives and still live within the Isla Vista store's delivery area. I guess they didn't want to get too far from the best pizza in town. Since purchasing the Isla Vista store in ‘94, their operation has expanded to seven stores located along the central coast. Most important to Gaucho students and faculty, is that one of these new stores is located inside the Ucen on campus at UCSB. So if you are looking for great deals on pizza, oven-baked sandwiches or pasta while on campus at lunch - they have you covered. On a personal note, both Mark and Joe are married to UCSB alumni and have two perfect kids each -- the future Dominoids of Isla Vista and Goleta.
